Brutal Beatdown of the Day: [Trigger warning: Extremely graphic violence and abuse] A coordinated attack by several youths against an Asian teen in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood did not appear to be racially motivated, according to police.
Six teenagers were brought in for questioning today over the altercation, which took place in an alley behind an elementary school.
In footage of the assault posted to YouTube, the 17-year-old victim can be heard pleading with his masked assailants to stop. One of the attackers tells the boy he had “f*cked up.”
According to the official police report, the gang robbed the kid of $180 and left him bloodied and bruised. He was treated at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center for multiple cuts and other injuries.
It’s become a big deal because of the video,” police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien is quoted as saying.
Charges have yet to be filed.
This happens everyday. Some people dont even get to run away or are lucky enough to get video documentation. The root of the problem isn’t just the people; it’s the environment they’re brought in.
McProstitute of the Day: A woman was arrested yesterday outside a Burbank McDonald’s and charged with soliciting sexual favors in exchange for Chicken McNuggets.
According to police, LA resident Khadijah Baseer was allegedly spotted opening the car doors of McDonald’s customers stopped at the drive-thru. She would then offer her sexual services to the vehicle’s occupants, requesting chicken nuggets in lieu of cash.
After one prospective john complained to the cops, Baseer was arrested and booked on suspicion of prostitution.
Kickass Cover of the Day: Sarah Blackwood and the four members of Walk Off the Earth split one guitar in their striking cover of Gotye and Kimbra’s Sting-ish single “Somebody That I Used to Know.”

Might not be a fan of the song, but great talent!
When I was a kid, I didn’t have a laptop, iPod, Blackberry, PS3, Wifi or iPads. I played outside with friends, bruised my knees, made up stories and played hide and seek. I ate what my mom made. I would think twice before I said “no” to my parents. Life wasn’t hard, it was good & I survived. Kids these days are spoiled. Reblog this if you appreciate the way you were raised. I think we were happier kids.
HELL YAAA. PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK WAS THE SHIT!
I also had Transformers.
